When I began my Inglesidemom journey in 2007, I never dreamt it would last this long. The purpose of this blog has been to chronicle my joyful life - letting you in on the fun, happy, and sometimes ugly of my life. I think that mission was accomplished. The recipes will remain for those who need some inspiration on an 'I really hate to cook' day or a snowy day that needs a cozy touch. Might I recommend the Smokey Black Bean Soup with a side of Pesto Bread for that?

If I could leave you with a few words of encouragement.... Be transparent, being sure to use wisdom and grace (something I am still learning!). Be content with the Lord's call on your life, whatever it is. When you sin, be willing to repent and ask forgiveness from your husband and children, friends, acquaintances, neighbors and family. Be kind with your words, encouraging others to love and good works. Strive to serve others with a cheerful heart and willing hands. Care for your home and your family with diligence and love. Stay in the Word, listening for the Holy Spirit's voice. Act on it when He speaks! Never lose hope - remember that the Lord forgives and desires to restore and repair what we have broken and abused. Pray about everything - no matter how small or unimportant it may seem. Wait expectantly for the Lord to work.
